Transition services are a coordinated set of activities designed for the Special Education student with an outcome orientated process that promotes movement from school to post-school activities, including Supported Employment. Transition is based on cooperative planning and preparation that should involve the student, family, school personnel, DVRS personnel, SE vendor of choice and any other community representative that will have an impact on the students transition from school to post-school activities.

Waters & Sims will attend any IEP meeting to work collaboratively with the IEP team to ensure the student is receiving strong supports as they transition to the workforce. We have contracted with the following school distracts to provide Supported Employment services that include; Job Development, Job Sampling, Job Coaching and Follow Along.

  • Woodbridge Township School District
  • Holmdel School District
  • Upper Freehold Regional School District

Any questions regarding Transition services or to request our attendance at an upcoming IEP, please contact our Program Coordinator, Jessica Phillips.
